Yeah that kinda cought me off gaurd, when the forums go down, does the webclient/All silabsoft clients aswell go down?

this attack did cripple the entire server but it was a quick fix.

nope and nope, Happens sometimes get a few kids with some minor programming knowledge and a bot-net seems like big fun.

Got any logs that would've recorded an attacker IP and/or more specific details? You'd only need that if you care enough to get back at them. Knowing you, you could probably set their house on from the comfort of your own computer.
